How Ready to Promo works
Paste a Spotify link. In seconds, get genre, moods, a ready-to-use pitch, and a 0–100 Readiness Score — no forms.
In 6 steps
Paste your Spotify link
Copy any Spotify track link and paste it into our analyzer. No signup, no forms, no hassle.
Works with released tracks and pre-save links. We extract the track ID and fetch Spotify's audio features.
We analyze how your track sounds
We use Spotify's audio features API to analyze danceability, energy, valence, acousticness, and more.
These numerical features tell us how your track feels, which helps match it to genres and moods.
We match it to likely genres
Our algorithm compares your track's features to thousands of genre-labeled tracks. We show the top 3 genres with confidence scores.
Higher confidence means your track fits that genre well — important for playlist pitching.
We map moods used by curators
Playlist curators use mood tags like "energetic," "chill," "upbeat," or "atmospheric." We map your track's audio features to these moods.
This helps you understand how curators will perceive your track when they listen.
We generate a pitch you can copy-paste
Based on genres and moods, we write a short pitch paragraph ready for SubmitHub, PlaylistPush, or direct curator outreach.
Copy it, tweak it if needed, and use it in your playlist promotion campaigns.
We recommend where to submit
Based on your Readiness Score, we suggest whether to launch on SubmitHub, try PlaylistPush, or wait until you improve certain aspects.
Don't spend yet if your score is low — work on your track first, then come back.

Frequently asked questions
What is a readiness score?
A Readiness Score is a number from 0 to 100 that tells you how ready your track is for playlist promotion. It's based on genre confidence, mood clarity, SubmitHub friendliness, playlist similarity, and artist profile health. Higher scores mean better chances of acceptance by curators.
Does Ready to Promo change my audio?
No. We only analyze your track's existing audio features from Spotify. We don't modify, process, or change your audio in any way. We just read the metadata and audio features that Spotify provides and use them to generate insights.
Can I use it for unreleased tracks?
Yes, if you have a pre-save link or the track is already on Spotify (even if private or unreleased). We need a Spotify link to fetch audio features. If your track isn't on Spotify yet, upload it first and get the link.
Is it only for Spotify?
Currently, yes. We use Spotify's audio features API for analysis, so you need a Spotify link. We're considering support for other platforms in the future. For now, if your music is on Spotify (released or pre-save), you can use Ready to Promo.
Is SubmitHub / PlaylistPush required?
No. Ready to Promo just analyzes your track and gives you insights. We recommend SubmitHub or PlaylistPush based on your Readiness Score, but you can use our insights for any playlist promotion strategy — free pitching, direct curator outreach, or paid services. The choice is yours.
How accurate is genre detection?
Our genre detection uses machine learning trained on thousands of tracks with labeled genres. Confidence scores show how well your track fits each genre. Higher confidence (80%+) means strong genre fit. Lower confidence (below 60%) suggests your track might be genre-blending or harder to categorize.
How long does it take?
Analysis typically takes 10–30 seconds. We fetch your track's audio features from Spotify, run our genre and mood detection algorithms, calculate your Readiness Score, and generate your pitch. Most analyses complete within 15 seconds. If your track isn't in our database yet, first-time analysis might take slightly longer.
Is it free?
Yes, analysis is free. We have daily limits to keep the service fast and reliable. Check our homepage for current limits. Premium plans with higher limits may be available in the future, but core analysis will remain free.
